Bobby Deen, often referred to as a "Georgia Boy," honed his culinary skills in a classic Southern household before embarking on a professional journey in the kitchen at the age of 18. Teaming up with his brother Jamie under the guidance of their mother, Paula Deen, they launched a catering business in Savannah known for its heartwarming motto of delivering "lunch and love in a bag," which eventually blossomed into the beloved restaurant, The Lady & Sons.
With their restaurant thriving, Bobby and Jamie began to capture the attention of audiences on their mother’s Food Network cooking shows, leading to the creation of their own series, *Road Tasted*. This show showcased their adventures across America as they sought out hearty, love-infused dishes, successfully attracting a younger demographic to the Deen family legacy.
In early 2013, Bobby made his solo debut with *From Mama's Table to Mine*, which became a New York Times Best Seller. He has also collaborated with Jamie on four cookbooks, including *The Deen Bros. Cookbook* (2007) and *Y'all Come Eat* (2008). Their entrepreneurial spirit extended to a line of spices, barbecue sauces, and merchandise available through the Paula Deen Store.
Currently, Bobby hosts *Not My Mama's Meals* on the Cooking Channel, where he puts a healthier twist on Southern classics, and he also presents *Holiday Baking Championship* and *Spring Baking Championship* on the Food Network.
